Community Giving Fund Summer Casino Night benefits 12 charities
Steps from the sand at Malibu’s famous Broad Beach, Compass agents, staff, family and friends joined to party for a purpose at the Community Giving Fund’s annual Summer Casino Night on July 13th.
The Community Giving Fund, in partnership with Compass Cares, has raised more than $100,000 year-to-date, impacting 15 charities in total this year. In addition to three children’s charities awarded special grants in the spring, 12 agent-nominated charities received checks at the Summer Casino Night.
The party raised thousands of dollars toward building funds for the next 12 causes, which agents will select by ballot in December 2019.
“As Chair of the CGF, it is my sincere honor to watch the fund grow more abundant year over year with ample support from our Board and the associates who donate out of their sale transactions,” Community Giving Fund Chair Cassandra Petersen said.
