Our first COVID passing – Heartfelt
4:50 AM PST
Team –
Last week, Rick Laws, VP Sonoma County, shared with me the news that we have lost our first real estate professional to the COVID pandemic.
It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that I share with you the loss of Catherine Andrews. Catherine was known as “Red Cat” and this picture captures why! Her love of life was endless and her impact on anyone with the pleasure of crossing her path was infected with a smile.
Rick found the above writing on Catherine’s desk – profound in retrospect. It reads:
“Life is amazing. And then it’s awful. And then it’s amazing again. And in between the amazing and awful it’s ordinary and mundane and routine. Breathe in the amazing, hold on through the awful, and relax and exhale during the ordinary. That’s just living heartbreaking, soul-healing, amazing, awful, ordinary life. And it’s breathtakingly beautiful.” – L.R. Knost
Catherine is survived by her husband Tom, his daughter Kylie, and their children Natalie and Will. Catherine’s life is being celebrated here. There is a place to donate as well. The donations will benefit Catherine’s Memorial Fund.
COVID has pressed us all. We all have people we have lost in our lives since the inception of the pandemic. Catherine would want us all to celebrate her life and make sure to hug everyone we love every day!
The loss of liberties is one thing. The loss of life is another.
This is Where We are Now.
Thanks!
Mark
